Have You Got Enough Veg and Fruit?

Vege, Vegies, greens, fibres, vegetables, whatever you want to call them are good for you. Your body needs a little bit of fibre now and again for proper digestion and to clean out your guts. The foods that you eat will tend to get lodged somewhere in your stomach as you have almost 10 metres of insides running in loops and kinks.

1 serve is equivalent to 1 cup or to equate that to an object you are looking at the size of a computer mouse or a light bulb. With Australian guidelines, we are looking at at least 7 light bulbs of vegies and fruits in our diet daily.

Is this possible? To fit 7 light bulbs of food into our stomachs? Yes, it is going to be a challenge. Especially if you do not like your greens in the first place. If you never listened to your mum, well I will have to be your mum, so eat your greens before you go out to play.
